Apr. 12th, 2006 09:48 amIt's unfair for me to not mind calling out, which causes someone else to have to stay late, but loathe staying an extra 15 minutes every other week. I know. But it always happens on a day when I have to come back at 10. I hate getting home at 9am and knowing that in twelve hours, I have to be up and ready for work again. I also have no idea why they keep having me assemble the gift bags to go, since while I dream of crafty things, I tend to ruin anything delicate such as shoving tissue paper into a gift bag and making it look pretty. Oh well. I ended up covered in glitter, which is always fun.
I do believe they're going to blow up another bit of the bridge today. It's a shame. While the new bridge doesn't make me find God everytime I think of going over it, it's not half as pretty as the previous Cooper River Bridges. Woe.
So. I promised oddity goodness.
( So for now, I'll just sit here and wait alone )
In other news, Pullip-drama wise, I like certain people over in the land of pink, but dude. The whole NTP drama? People did notice the bodyswap. People commented in various threads about the damned competition. Threads I would assume, as mod, at least one of them would have to read. They created an entire set of rules AGAINST it elsewhere. Of course, elsewhere they also point out why no one stepped forward. [FEAR the pinksquad] Other than that, I'm still in the amused land, though slightly vexed that the powers that be justify not noticing something like zee switch with, "Well, how could we?" Dunno, the average collective knowledge of what you profess to love, and that the newer ones don't have boobs bigger than their heads? No? Well then. But the whole, "this is just totally ruining my trust in dolly communities!" mentality makes my brain ache. Actually, I could sort of get behind that one if they didn't specify what part of the dolly drama was killing them. But the people who are just "so, so hurt"? Ohmybabyjesus, you're kidding me, right?
So, to be fair, I should admit I love zee drama in a very non-specific way. I don't like people actually getting hurt, but if it shakes things up and gets people to pay attention? Woo.
