Jul. 25th, 2006 12:11 pmJust as I was about to go to sleep [blown out the candles, turned out the lights, the room was that perfect temperature, and I'd actually climbed under my sheets] the phone rang. Considering I'd spent half an hour earlier playing phone tag with Ryan, missing him by mere minutes, I scrambled to grab the phone. I answered and it was Cass.
... Turns out I misunderstood much about Sunday's bridal shower plans. Seems that's the sextoy extranvaganza. To which I say, "waitwha?"
This was all smooshed between some odd fixation on cereal and the traditional whining about not hearing things the same time as everyone else. *headdesk* It's okay, it'll be okay. I'm sure.
Next week, remind me to go about aquiring the dress for this wedding, kay? I meant to yesterday, only I ended up at the bookstores and bought stuff. Got the new Charmed mag and I'm still not sure how the hell they can continue to charge so much for so little.
Didn't realize Francesca Lia Block had a new book out. [Ruby, for future refference] Had it not been $22, I might have snagged it as well. Maybe next time. Maybe not. I've come to realize that I definitely prefer Books A Million to B&N. Maybe this is because I seem to go most often on Mondays and I almost always have the same cashier/clerk/whatever and she's always very nice. In fact, that's probably it right there. That and even with the world's most annoying revamp, I can still find books in there whereas B&N? Not so much. As much as I love books, I'd loathe working in either store.
Found out the St. Andrews branch of the library is closing soon for renovations. It'll be out of commision until November sometime. That's a bummer as it'll send people to the other branches.
Tonight's Mad Madam H's last night. This makes me very sad. But not as sad as I'll be if the assistant manager I think is set to take over for her actually does. [That'll drive me to quit. Just letting you know.] Siiiiigh.
*yawns*
Here's hoping this week turns out to be uneventful in a good way.
*eyes the updated pics on Frickart* Huh. I was all over Isora. Now, not so much. Wonder what changed. Too lazy to look though. In other dolly thoughts, still trying to figure out an outfit that doesn't make Eternia look ill. She was cute in the meloncholy kitties outfit. In the meantime, Georgie [Raphia] snagged the wedding gown and looks adorable in it.
