I am the one who taps you on the shoulder

I work for idiots. Lovable idiots at times, but idiots all the same. Yesterday morning we were pretty much out of register tape [reciepts anyone?] and the register will not work without the paper. Kay? That part is very important. So this morning I'm handing someone their very long reciept and I notice it's all curled over on itself which means soon it will be bleeding pink and have to be replaced.
  I look everywhere and not a single roll to be found. I even checked to see if they'd foolishly put a roll back in reg #3. Nope. I call back to the office and it's like no one freakin' thought about the fact that we were almost out yesterday. They suggest pharmacy and hang up. ...wtf? So I try calling back to pharmacy, but no one answered. I spent the next hour pondering how bitchy it would be to scalp the tape from 2 and not tell anyone. Instead I used the last minute I was being paid for and ran back to pharmacy and begged them to see if they had one. They did, and I ran it back up front because I'm not a bitch... to people I like.

Meh.

I don't want to go to work tonight. Time to run away and sleep.

Oh, and it wasn't my imagination! Fox cut out about five episodes from their re-run schedule, or played them on odd days that I didn't notice. So I get to rejoice at the prospect of new House eps over my days off. :D
