Sep. 19th, 2006 12:35 amI take it back. You can keep normal. You can keep anything approaching normalcy. I'm no good at any of it, other than inadvertantly hurting someone's feelings to the point where someone overly talkative is rendered completely speechless. Yay me.
And now the trifecta has been hit. Of the three female friends I've managed to maintain over the years, distance and whatnot be damned, they have all become engaged to varying degrees of success.
I think I'm just going to sit here and stare blankly at what I assume will be a slideshow of all the things I should have said earlier.
Still, how do you explain to someone that some words just won't come? That my throat constricts and I cannot physically say some things without a major effort, and then it usually pops out in the middle of another conversation altogether? The number of times I've had my heartbroken and been unable to say that much in any form? Yeah, I lost count, too. If it is possible to choke on words unsaid, I might do just that.
