The power of three Principessas
Nov. 28th, 2006 08:35 am... So. Who wants to preorder/buy me an army of mini/little Principessas? While they currently seem to lack the total evil of big Princi, I'm willing to take the chance that like all the other minis, it's a crapshoot on what you get. Some are sweet [first mini Noir], some are totally evil [Cissy Noir], and some just wish they were ebil [WitchHazel]. In order for them to properly take on the Noirs, if they are so inclined, I need three. Luckily Sooni [zee Dal] does very little for me at the moment. I'm still waffling on our lady of screwy eyes Pullip. On the one hand, why make a doll of a character and then screw with a defining characteristic? Of course, I like the change, but I'm thinking her stock outfit would join the land of Never To Be Seen Again. So... waffle.
That leaves more money for the army of Princis. Now to hunt down a place to buy 'em from. Patience is a virtue I will never fully possess. However, with my computer being slower than molasses on a cold day in Hell, this will probably have to wait. *kicks*
I'm currently trying to mentally create my Christmas wishlist. I'd say I'm going to wish for things like world peace, but honestly, I'm feeling all of eight years old today. So it's looking pretty good for toys, books, and a messenger bag/purse/something with a gazillion pockets and zippers. For the latter, I've pretty much struck out in my search. I found purse Nirvana about a month ago, but I probably never want to spend that much on something I'm just going to shove junk in. Luckily, I've pretty much forgotten everything about it other than it was overpriced, and there were a million zippers in the best possible way.
Ducked into BAM yesterday, and for the nine billionth time, wished I had gobs of money to spend on books, magazines, and all sorts of other things. It still kills me a little to walk down the stuffed aisles [rows? it's hard to tell with their newish layout] and pass ten books that I would easily like to own. Or, rather, I think I would like to own. Still, I managed to drag myself away from temptation and only walked away with UK Elle [with SMG] annnnnd a book whose title I do not recall that was $1.97 and looked interesting enough to warrant me spending that much. Yay!
However, I think I'm going to have to actually start saving up for a proper sprawl and read kind of chair. I've been trying to con the parental units for years. I was thisclose one year, but fell in love with Bob. Since Bob stores things, I can't say I made the wrong choice, but I've reverted back to wanting a chair. Some place to plop down, reach over to the side [because naturally, if you buy a reading chair you will need a little table to sit next to it], flick on a lamp [if you buy a reading chair, you will need a little table, and that little table will need a lamp] and drown happily in comfort and reading goodness.
If you got the whole If you Give a Mouse a Cookie bit, you may pass go, you may collect $200, and I've got a bunch of cookies you are more than welcome to share.
AFI.
Less than a week.
Eeee!
