May. 13th, 2007 09:27 amTis mother's day. If the day makes you mopey, well, that blows. Want some mini cheesecakes to make your day better? In a fit of love masochism, I decided I would make my mother breakfast. A couple of things you should know.
1) I'm not a breakfast person. I'll eat at the crack of dawn, but you can pretty much bet that I'll forgo the toast, eggs [ick], pancakes, waffles, whatever else, and demand something else entirely for my morning meal. Which is why night shift works so well for me.
2) My ability to cook something well is directly tied to how much I like to eat whatever I am cooking. Thus...
3) I can't cook breakfast very well.
Which is why before I began doing anything else, I made mini cheesecakes. Because even if there's nothing else edible before noon, there will be cheesecake!
I'm also starving right now.
Headache. Should eat, but I don't want to stand up just yet. I do, however, want to stare at my pretty icon just a little while longer...
edit: I have returned from my mostly triumphant breakfasting. Cinnamon rolls? HEAVEN.
