May. 25th, 2007 10:01 am...Alright. I've held my tongue for ages, but, Christ, I've let at least four of these go by without a single comment. No more! ( Pullip bitchery. Sorta. ) I want to like them, but... no.
Speaking of things I want to like, but no, I finished the last of the Gossip Girl novels. Well, the ones centered on Blair/Serena/Nate, that is, aside from the prequel. Annnnnd I gotta say that whichever book made me sort of like Serena was a one shot deal. G'ah. *makes stabby motions with a butter knife* The whole turning it into a show thing worries me a bit. On the other hand, I pretty much read the series for Blair and Vanessa, and to hell with the rest. [Drown at sea, Nate!]
Now, if you'll excuse me, tis Mumsy's birthday.
...August 7th. Dresden Files. DVD. *dies happy* But not as happy as I'd be with the promise of a second season.
