...Alright. I've held my tongue for ages, but, Christ, I've let at least four of these go by without a single comment. No more! I'm sure pbrigitte is a loverly person. Her[?] photos are lovely. The dollies are lovely in that they don't look like a five year old glopped gummy old paint onto a Pullip head. But I cannot frickin' stand the Zombuki thing she's got going on. It's a taste thing, I know. But the funky eye chips that match the eyelashes just so [all hail detail] make my own eyes hurt just looking at them. And I feel like a complete bitch for saying so, but ...argh. Just too much going on for one doll's face. Which, I imagine, is sort of the point. They seem to be well done, but they aren't for me, and since they're so eye catching, my eyes bleed for a good five minutes after I inadvertently make eye contact with any given one. I want to like them, but... no.

Speaking of things I want to like, but no, I finished the last of the Gossip Girl novels. Well, the ones centered on Blair/Serena/Nate, that is, aside from the prequel. Annnnnd I gotta say that whichever book made me sort of like Serena was a one shot deal. G'ah. *makes stabby motions with a butter knife* The whole turning it into a show thing worries me a bit. On the other hand, I pretty much read the series for Blair and Vanessa, and to hell with the rest. [Drown at sea, Nate!]

Now, if you'll excuse me, tis Mumsy's birthday.

...August 7th. Dresden Files. DVD. *dies happy* But not as happy as I'd be with the promise of a second season.

I actually like them but someone else on my flist doesn't like them either, it is a matter of taste and without wanting to hurt anyone I have moaned about things I don't like before as well, sometimes we just cannot hold it in, I despise people thinking that thier dolls need to painted up differently and then do a half arsed job there by making the doll worthless and ugly, someone once said to me they feel sorry for the dolly and I agree with that sentiment.

I kind of feel the same way. They seem a bit too much, y'know? I guess I like my dolls being rather realistic. They're gorgeous, and alot of work goes into them, but I really don't know.
Of course, it's personal opinion :) No need to fell bad.
