Okay, so Gossip Girl seems to be making the transition from book series to television series and keeping certain things the same. I still think Nate is a waste of space, character wise, and while TV Serena actually gives a damn, she's just as dense in some ways as her book counterpart. I loathe Serena's mother and spend half her screen time wondering why, oh why, they actually chose to feature Serena's mumsy [and vastly alter all things Serena, including her family] over Blair's, and then go and make her such an unbelievable bitch. And by unbelievable, I mean she's entirely too believable and I would rather not have to suffer through the scenes, kay? Nothing against the actress, I just don't like the character. Then you've got Chuck, who cracks me up. Every where you go, someone is offended by Chuck, and I'm thinking if someone, anyone, had peeked at any, any, ANY of the books, you'd know Chuck is an ass. Chuck is nothing but an ass, and I'm hoping they never bring Chuck his monkey, cuz later Chuck further devolved into 2-D, and he never had that much depth to begin with. Still love Dan, still fear for how close they'll chose to play their storylines to what's established already. But mostly I wonder how Blake Lively, who isn't that much older than her character is supposed to be, can manage to look so much older than at least the people playing Nate, Blair, and occasionally Dan. o_O Are those guys that much younger or... *is confused*

I have a massive headache forming, and I'm not sure why. Maybe it's the last five hours in front of my TV, though. Well, I tried, but Supernatural wasn't watching itself, so I had to step in and help Sam & Dean along, ok? And since it was Disc 1 of Season 2, it meant I got my Amber fix as well. Yay, me!
