mini world domination and headaches

Spent most of yesterday at Cassy's. Which was fun, as I got to see Jack [their cat] and the turtles are always good for a laugh, not to mention that for all I bitch, I love Missy Cass something fierce. However, when my ride arrived and I kissed Jack goodbye, gave Cass a hug, and damn near twisted my ankles [both!] I climbed into the car, said hullo, and we drove off. Mumsy got a bit huffy as she was trying to count streets or houses or something to see if someone was off in their guess for directions, but she was talking and didn't count and the huffy ensued. Methinks a concussion, pneumonia, and cracked ribs have made her a bit on the cranky side. So, halfway down Rivers, about the time Mom pulls over to the KFC and I misread the sign, my head just goes from a dull ache that I was pretty sure was due to a lack of sleep to lights suddenly cranked up to 11 and I thought my brain would slide out of my ears. It's been ages since I've had a headache like that. Ages. So bad I pulled my hood over my eyes and tried to block out everything. But I'll be damned if I didn't seriously consider jumping out of the car when we hit the neighborhood and just try running home as it felt it would be faster. However, I'm not completely crazy, so I grit my teeth and prayed we'd break the 10mph mark.

Headache still lingers, but God invented the Excedrin for a reason. To keep me happy. Short of crushing migraine returning, I have to go shopping for pants today. I fucking hate pants shopping. So, here's hoping it's as easy as last time and that I don't spend a fortune so that I can come home and spend a fortune on something fun. Or maybe I'll spend a fortune on something fun while I'm out.

I'm debating the Angel DALs. But then I look at my incomplete mini-army and feel bad because while they're mostly ugly, it's ugly in a way I like. Plus, world domination, y'know? The Angels are iffy. I think I'll snag a couple to see if I like them in person, but most likely I'll avoid the Angel Pullips as they may smile, but they're also kind of dull comparatively speaking. Promo-picture wise, anyway. Hmm.


Might get around to actually making a better version of this and then going around with it, but for now it was fun just to take two seconds and spit that out. Mostly as a reminder for me to snag the ones I don't have, but also, you never know when someone wants to be rid of their minis. But I'm lazy, so for now this is it. But there should be a recruiting notice from the nicer side, too. Cookies and whatnot.
