of books and chili

I stayed up late [for me these days] last night watching season 5 of Scrubs. I'd managed to somehow convince myself that while I love Scrubs, it's not possible to love it as much each and every year. And that's just simply not true. I laughed until I thought I would stop breathing... and then I cried because that's what Scrubs does to me. I know it will, it's always just a matter of when. I didn't realize that I've already seen most of season five, mostly due to Arianne's not-so-bachelorette's weekend where we watched Scrubs for hours.

Making chili. Which is kind of weird since personally, I've liked all of one bowl of chili I've eaten in my life. I think I could make one I do like, but it's an awful lot of work for something where I would only want a small bowl... :P Also, I'm fully aware that I pretty much yank out anything with any nutritious value in just about everything I eat.

You lot are dangerous. If you aren't encouraging me to buy dollies or go see movies or snag some music, or hell, expanding my horizons in some way, you're reminding me that one can never have enough books. Which is, alas, completely true.

So, I'm off to peek at release dates as I think a couple of goodies are coming up. Okay, fine, you caught me. I also fully intend to order some stuff so that it'll get here on my long-ish weekend, kay? God, do you have to be so relentless? ;)

Also, who the hell told spring to pretend to be winter? Go for autumn chill, March. Not frickin' February icicles.
