In snarky thoughts, Justin Timberlake is not a name you should ever get used to seeing/hearing around me, as I find him annoying and have since N'Sync, but damn, the closeups of the guy I've been seeing [through no fault of my own] are so. not. flattering. I feel kinda bad for him since, y'know, he was so strange as a teenager and now has the personality one expects a celebrity pretty boy to have, which is to say none at all. If your looks fail you, boy, they will find another.
Also, AOL's coverage of the MGA vs. Mattel court battle made me laugh and cry at the same time. Well, not literally to the crying, although it's not sounding all that good for MGA at the moment, and while I'm not always the biggest fan of the Bratz, I do like that my DALs can steal their clothes, which are frequently better than just about anything Mattel ever puts out. The laughter is because their picture gallery to accompany the doom and gloom piece seems to consist of three pictures of various dolls, and then 296 pictures of the Bratz movie, or people at the Bratz movie premiere. Yes. Seriously. I went through and looked. Did the movie even do all that well, or is someone just desperate to get paid for those pictures? I'd rather have nearly three hundred Bratz promo pictures or something. Bad, bad AOL. No cookie for you.
If you've got a thing for mechanical pencils, Walgreens is having a 5 cent sale on the five packs. Mmm. 4 cents with discount. ;)
Sienna Miller is back on my blergh list, having only been removed from it for being in Stardust and not making me die [and actually liking her scenes], due to the obvious tabloid disaster. I don't even read them anymore and I can't escape this stuff. BAH.
And while I love that it was a gift and normally I'm all for Lifehouse, their new CD is essentially two songs. One: A single. Two: Not, and it consists of the rest of the damn album. I'm not sure if it's because I'm not exactly in the mood for their songs, or if this album is just one of those long, wah-wah things where it all sounds the same. I'll get back to you on that. Just... not today.
I need something to eat. But I'm so, so tired...
