Comic Book Tattoo

  Okay, here's the deal. Totally ripping this idea off the one person I saw who actually gave their thoughts on CBT. Thing is, while I may not have agreed with their opinions, I do think the format works. However, it'll totally spoil the book for you. Well, not totally as in it's not a scanned copy, but if you wanted to be surprised as to the order of the stories, or even which ones were included, or what the general feel of the art for any of them would be, well... this will ruin it for you, at least a little.

  That disclaimer out of the way, I did try and avoid choosing images that wouldn't spoil any given story for other people. Even ones where the only part I liked was the spoilerific stuff.

  I freely admit that there are some stories that I don't get, or don't think I get enough, so it's possible opinions will change. And there's one where I haven't heard the song, or haven't heard it in so long so that it counts as never having heard the song. You'll know it when I get there.

I finally read my Allure with Victoria Beckham on the cover. I love her. I have since I was, what, sixteen, and I still do to this day. Everytime I sort of falter, she'll say or do something and I remember why the love is there.

Allure: How do you feel about fat people? Is there an ick factor?
VB: That’s an awful question. People have to be healthy. Some people can’t help being thin; some people can’t help being fat. People can’t help the way they look. I don’t like it when people are mean about me, so I’m not going to be mean about anybody else.

That is why I no longer have an Allure subscription. Funny, when it initially expired I thought it was because their customer service was a bit of a pain in the ass and they'd gone six months or so with no one I loved on the cover. But no, it's because that would fucking get printed. You can't truly control what any given asshole will ask, but printing his stupidity makes your whole magazine look bad, guys. So, fail. This says it nicely.
