Feb. 4th, 2009 12:31 pmI should not be allowed in Target. I spend too much. But who could possibly expect me to say no to The Trouble With Angels on DVD? Exactly. No one. And I had to buy Widget St. Patrick's Day socks because, well, green. And everything else was baby shower stuff. How exactly did I go in for what was supposed to be a cute little extra to go with the diapers I'd bought turn into "And this. And this. And I think this, too"? To be fair, I did buy at least one thing off the list of DOOM and I did get a gift receipt [the only time I've ever actually had to ask for one from Target, which was odd] so if my idea of cute doesn't mesh with hers, I won't be horribly offended. Okay, yeah. I will. Pooh bear blankie is cute! Anyway, I also bought a gift card for the big sis, mainly because I have no idea what she'd like. So, um, this way she can get what she does like and until then, it's a light up gift card. The fortune teller one was lame.
So, with that in mind, I didn't spend too much. But I did realize that what I consider super cute? Not necessarily what others would. Like the rubber duckies. I wanted a pirate cow rubber duckie.
The lady in the aisle with me as I announced this to Mumsy gave me this look. Seriously lady, what could be more awesome than that unless it was a vampire pirate cow?
I know.
Went to the library and snagged a few books. Did not realize that the copy of the collected edition of the Anita comics was volume 2. *scowl*

Headache. Blergh. Also, it's really frickin' cold for us, so I'm going to go burrow under my covers and hope UPS ships my stuff faster than usual. Books. Mmm.
