Feb. 16th, 2009 05:23 amG'ah. I'm hungry and I know the absolute second I go downstairs and fix myself something meh to eat, Dad and the boy will go out for yummy food. Even if I wait four hours, it will happen. FRICK. And I'm hungry still. It ticks me off that they'll make breakfast for each other but I'm left to fend for myself for just about everything but dinner because my schedule is part of opposite land. Which is all well and good except I'm usually awake for lunch time and they're forever just... skipping me.
Bah. I was a bit bad yesterday and bought myself a shiny because the cat seemed a bit better and now of course I find she's gone and wiped out more often than before. *sigh*
BTW, I was totally right. The second I went rummaging around for my shiny red pan, my father asked if I'd order a pizza. It only took another hour to arrive. So now? Still ravenous.
...That was surreal. I took big dog outside, and because she's skittish, she needs you to stay with her while she's on the lead. Her ears perk up and I hear the sound of children out front. I figure Widget has gone outside to play with the kids from the House of A Thousand Children, which is good, right?
Yeah, except, um, he didn't really. Turns out that they smeared mud all over his bike. And piled dirt, twigs, and cig butts behind the wheel of truck, stick standing right up in an attempt to kill said wheel. All of that's annoying [and rude] but they also put mud clods on the steps. Considering my parents both have iffy balance on the best of days, it pissed me off when I realized the dirt clods weren't Thomas experimenting before kicking them off the steps. So I get the Boy and he's just going to let it go. Which, fine, except the car thing and the steps weren't just targeting Thomas. Two of the kids and their father came over and cleaned up. I gather Widget was mean to them, but I'm not entirely sure what he did, although I did ask.
And in the "learn something new every day" I was unaware that people had issues with Zoe calling Mal "sir" on Firefly. ...right.
