comic book roundup!
Apr. 24th, 2010 01:49 pmHoly. Hell. The Charmed comics art has been updated (expanded? Something?) and I peeked at TFAW.com and AUGH. My EYES. They burn. Okay, fine. It's about what I expected, at least... sort of. Some of the covers look nifty. Because, of course, we need alternate covers. Right. Mmm hmm. And some... some I doubt that even my most "must collect every variant!" cracked out self would have wanted.

Why hello there, picture of Holly I probably have in one of the Charmed magazines I can never find because I found them overpriced and generally craptacular. Wait, where was I going with this?
Nyergh. So, no. My eyes have stopped burning. But I think I was spoiled by nifty covers on various things over the years and came to hope for a little too much, I suppose. But seriously, some of those? Someone just wasn't trying hard enough.
Future Self: Your last issue of Buffy S8 was #26. Do with that what you will. If you're good, maybe I'll let you buy us some of the Omnibus editions again. Those are yummy reads, even if the contained comics are occasionally repeats or horrible, horrible things.
And no, no cuts for this. I cut just about everything else and this needs to be shared. Shared with the world! Plus it's totally saving you from me whining about being sick and having to re-call into work the other day, which cost me four hours of sleep. Shiny!
