I'm a dork. Duh.

Fucking cigarettes. I spent all freakin' night resetting the cigarette display/shelves/section. ALL NIGHT. I had to cut my lunch short and I still didn't finish until five minutes before my replacement came in. ALL NIGHT. On what freakin' planet do we need 15 slots for Marlboro reds? NOT THIS ONE. Lights/Golds/whatever you want to call them, yes. Reds, no. NO.

It got to the point that I just started putting things we shouldn't be deleting back into the section because some of these cigarettes, if we don't have them, will result in someone getting the crap kicked out of them on camera. I'm dead serious.

To recover from this, Mums and I stopped by Walmart on the way to the bank (where she was depositing money in my account to pay the water/electric bill, both of which have now been pain) to see what they might have. Because the boy had to work this morning, I had to make it quick. I had to choose between trying to find my sangria and running for the MH section. Sadly, the booze lost. Turns out that I could have checked because his royal majesty didn't roll out of bed until an hour ago, but whatever.

I think Walmart is in the middle of their reset. They had the W2 girls (Frankie, Cleo, and Clawdeen) and I seriously considered grabbing Clawdeen since mine is wonkified. However, I noticed they had the DotD set. So I had to flash back to my pro/con list for this.

Pro:

• Unlike GB, these dolls have been out for a year. With a new wave of the line coming out, it actually makes sense to refresh the original wave and if Walmart was butthurt that Target and TRU got exclusives, well, here, give them one. Price wise, it doesn't suck either.


• I wanted a second Frankie.


• I wouldn't mind a second Clawdeen.


• I'm weak when it comes to missing one. Unless that one is Jackson. (Not having Holt bugs me sometimes. His ugly orange/purple/red/whatever combo stops me from buying him, or he's wonky, but... it bugs me.)


• The doll, other than being cursed by the glitter herpes, is very prettiful in a "...I think DL's on the sauce again" sort of way.

Con:

• That dress is really short and I feel old every time I say this and yet I can't not say it. Frankie's may be shorter, but she's got tights on and Jem taught me this makes everything A-Okay, alright?


• I do not *need* a second Clawdeen, or Frankie really, since DotD Frankie is usually bottom on my list o' Frankies, aside from the bolts.


• The glitter herpes is strong with this set. The dress, the purse, the eyemakeup.


• It's Walmart. I feel bad shopping there.


• There are others I want MORE.

Yeah. Draculaura is sitting on my bed as we speak. :P If they'd had Deuce and/or Ghoulia, they'd have taken the gift set's spot, but they didn't. I looked. I looked at all four, and other than the glitter extravaganza, the sets were all without serious wonk. I'm not really the person to be able to tell, however, since I didn't realize until today that it was an issue with Lagoona and her bulgy eyes not being centered enough or something. Or maybe it's something I already look for but don't care one way or the other? Not sure.

I'm content with my purchase and unless there's some horrible surprise in store for me when I open 'em up, yay times are here. :D Draculaura is cuter in person. Of course, I also think Spectra is as well, so your mileage may vary considerably. Mums wishes to see Draculaura wearing Frankie's dress and vice versa. "Too much pink" she declared. I'm fairly certain Draculaura has never heard of such a notion, but I also agree.

My feet hurt. I'm off to read and soak them in something while I read something. Mums brought home Hit List from the library, but I think I have to work myself up to that level of pain and misery. (And yet I still plan on reading it. I think my logic button is broken.)
