Yeah, that was shameless. I should be ashamed. Ashamed! But I'm not. Anyway. It's cold. I woke briefly to the sound of thunder earlier. If the crazy dude a few years ago is to be believed, we should have snow within 2 weeks. Considering I believe that he's been right every time... I'm kind of wondering if it'll happen this time, too.
I somehow slept away most of my day off. Woe. I tried to work on Lila fic this morning and it didn't work out so well. I need to re-read what I typed to see if it's better than I thought (sometimes it's hard to tell when the cat is crushing you) or if it should be scrapped. That said, I think what I scribbled before I passed out is actually going to work so we'll see if it evens out in the wash. If it does, we are one step closer to unleashing this beast upon the universe. Huzzah!
My paint your own ornaments thing is going... weird. The first ornament is still not dry. o_O It's been a week, I think. Maybe a little less, but still! I bet Claudia never had this kind of problem. The third ornament is also not dry, but that's only been two days and one of them I didn't think to turn it upside down so the extra paint could drain. I have hope!
The only one that might be done is the glitter storm and that one I'm not sure of because I inadvertently sealed that sucker up tighter than a drum. So, really, it's done. It just doesn't know it. This leaves me three more ornaments to destroy. *muse*
Pandora seems to feel I do not want anything more recent in my holiday selections than possibly the 70's. Which would be okay but the Carpenters give me flashbacks.
Lesse. I can't wait for payday. I have ideas but no money to spend! I should probably make a list, huh?
*yawns* Sleepy. Must wake up... right?
