I have just made sure that the new dolls should show up like, tomorrow fast because I caved to the super awesome powers of Batgirl x2. I KNOW. Now I'm on a strict no-extra-stuff diet. I'm hoping my old dolly-diet habits are still intact, which'll make it easier to stick to this no frills approach to shiny things. Also helping? The fact that I'm done Easter shopping already (well, other than a few creme eggs but that's why change was invented) and the Walmart down the road from work is firmly in the "We have nothing of interest" state of the remodel. So I just need to avoid shiny things at work and online.
Yeah. Totally a piece of cake. [/sarcasm]
Still, I'm excited. It's been... more than a year since I had a new Pullip. Wow. The last one I got was somewhere in 2009. Holygeez.
In other news, I dreamt about miss kitty the other day. But in the dream I knew she was dead and that me seeing her meant it wasn't real. That makes very little sense, but usually in my dreams if a pet appears, I'll know something isn't right with them appearing, but I don't figure it out until I wake up. In this one I *knew* and despite getting to hug her and tell her I missed her, it wasn't the same as when I dream about the hamsters or the other cats. Or even Dad. My brain still hasn't officially declared him gone in my dreams, so why kitty?
In semi-but-not-really news, today's Pollyanna moment is the youngest dog choosing to come upstairs and snooze next to me while I'm on the computer. Sure, she snores, and you have to be really quick when she wakes up or else you'll have a mess to clean up... but it's nice that she chooses to be with me. :)
