From the brain of me
Sep. 1st, 2012 12:14 pmOh, hey. It's September, which means it's time for me to find my Halloween Craft. I think I did this year, in the form of this:
Only I think I can improve upon it. Or ruin it completely. I just need the money and the patience to do this.
Sort of a cousin to the dead flower/black rose wreath I want to make/buy every year but never manage to do it. I'm considering the glowing eyeball wreath but that's pretty much as expensive as the black roses one and with about 200% more pain. (Pins. Need I say more?)
I need more crafting/decorating ideas. Particularly for outside, but I'm game for anything that doesn't involve too much time/money. Chime in! Sharesies!
Or hell, share the really expensive but awesome stuff and we can kvetch about the lack of money in our pockets. :P
Widget and I have found someone to fangirl in the Halloween craft department: Evette Rios though that link doesn't really have as many videos to watch for your crafty needs. She idiot proofs things without it being obnoxious and doesn't talk too quickly or leave out important stuff. Widget approves of her videos, even if it's a craft neither of us will ever do. :P
New Scentsy warmer to oooh and ahhh over.
I do wish they'd show it without the lid, because I may have spent a good five minutes going, "waitaminute..." :P And then I got smart and Googled it, and when that failed to properly explain it all (Clarissa would not approve, Google!), I skipped over to youtube.
And then curiosity got the best of me and I looked at the one for next month and I'm now going to hide under the desk with Ozma. D:
