Sep. 15th, 2012 06:11 pmIt's September 15th. This means I can make my virtual shopping basket of Scentsy stuff. The only real question now is whether I'll end up doing enough shopping in a short enough time span to warrant a party of my very own. :P The plan is to snap up the Halloween ones I like best first, then circle back and descend on the wintry ones the next go round. I'm a bit torn on the scents. When I like them, I love them, and when I don't like them, they're silver bells which was met with the following reactions by everyone but someone's mother in law:
me: ;_; But it sounded so pretty!
Mom: x_x get it out of here!
Widget: o_O Why did you buy that?
Cass: *asthma attack* Oh, geez. Yeah, we can swap that out.
In preparation of this, I've been watching Scentsy youtube videos. Because I'm bored and also some of these things are hilarious. And some are informative. Like the Blizzard warmer? Totally want that. And I figured out the Pumpkin warmer (crap, have to add that to the before September ends list!) and it's mystical third piece that the Scentsy sites don't show you how that works. Anyway, I learned something else, too.
I adore the ladies with their accents and their super sweet, God bless us all personalities. Which is weird because you throw God into the mix and people get weird. But maybe it's different if you're not interacting or they're just saying it sparingly or... I dunno. It's a weird thing to have realized. Perhaps my time with Tracy is wearing off on me? *shrug*
My nose is itchy. Freakin'. Allergies.
My belated birthday present from Donna came in yesterday. :D At first I did the "FINALLY!" dance thinking it was Sassaflash. Then I looked at the address and realized, nope. ;_; Then I switched back to ooooooh, shiny in the mail! Carried it upstairs after leaving the half-case of Count Chocula for Mums. Opened and out tumbled the most beautiful beaded bracelet. I'll have to remember to take a picture of it tomorrow. It's loverly. I then spent the next half an hour trying to figure out how to open the clasp. Yeah, as soon as I figured it out I felt very dim. :P It's a tighter fit than the last one she made me but that will not stop me from wearing it to work tonight.
I need one more story for the summer challenge. One more!
