Today has been called on account of cramps. I know, you really needed to know that but you'll survive. As will I. Just not aided by the sweet, sweet tastiness of icecream because the caramel swirl in B&J's Coffee Caramel Buzz was disgusting to me. Mums, however, enjoyed it immensely. So that's something. They keep killing my favorite B&J flavors and it's starting to feel personal. o_O
Moving along, today brought good stuff in the form of the new T&S video with Mae Whitman (yays!) who happens to be one of those actresses I've adored since forever. In this case, forever happens to be State of Grace. One day that'll hit DVD and I can die happy.
Also, Thor trailer. Loki pops up at the end looking um, special but prison isn't necessarily good for one's looks. I did snicker at the various comparisons and jokes made though. Which reminds me that Iron Man 3 is coming out and I'm thinking I could take Widget to see it.
Assuming I haven't throttled him yet. Yesterday I found out that he'd put his sticky fingers all over my Charmed S1 DVD even though he'd been told explicitly that he was not allowed to touch the DVD possibly EVER. Also, he swiped two of my memory cards and erased them and ugh. (Turns out, based on what could be recovered, that one just seemed to have MH pictures that I think I'd backed up and the other had his mother's wedding. He pretty much obliterated that one.)
Painted my nails yesterday. Revlon's got a new LE blue/green called Coast is Clear and it's pretty much the exact shade of Scaris Lagoona's dress. It's glorious and also the color I've been looking for. :D The downside was that even though I waited for ages, I still managed to wreck my thumbnail horribly when opening my boxes of goodness yesterday.
Continuing on my see-saw of joy, Bomb Girls hasn't shown up yet. WOE. And also it seems likely that Canada is cancelling it. Yes. I am blaming an entire country for this just as I would encourage people to blame the entire country here for the cancellation of their favorite US shows. *nods*
Oh, and yesterday I had this conversation with Mums:
her: well, you have to remember that all the characters you like, everyone else hates.
me: ...but I was right about Luna! And if I'm right about her, maybe I'm right about some of these other characters, too!
This was prompted by me checking to see if there was any word on The Carrie Diaries being picked up and finding review after review that wanted Maggie kicked off the show. Dude, no! Maggie is awesome and we will have a Serious Discussion soon.
Oddly, the realization that the anti-Maggie people are super vocal put me in a foul mood for much of the day. Eventually I kicked the funk (see: boxes of awesome) for the most part but it was still... meh. Moodiness, thy name is me.
