Okay. So, the postage stamp kitchen is back up to a higher price than it was (briefly) and I will sit here and laugh until I cry about this because apparently this house has been sitting there since at least October of last year, with no real nibbles. Wtf makes you think raising the price back to where it did not move is going to help? Seriously. One awesome lighting fixture and phone nook will not justify this and I will cry bitterly the day the universe proves me wrong.
Until then, the search continues to suck. I'm trying not to get too discouraged because... I don't know why, just because, but so far if dead ends were like running into a wall, I'd be dead, I've hit so many. I should not have to choose between my pets and finding a semi decent place to live. I'm not asking for a mansion or even a house as big as this one. I just want someplace safe, that will allow the pets, and is in my price range. My price range, I might add, is not completely wishful thinking, either.
Moving on to more pleasant matters (really!): Remember, oh, a month or something ago when I posted about them making Misfits dolls and I might've ordered Stormer? Well she ninja shipped Monday and she showed up this evening! I haven't deboxed her (just peeked inside the very pretty box) but she's pretty. :D I'm not sure I'd really be interested in anyone else other than maybe Roxy, from IT, but from a purely "ooooh" standpoint, I think she'll fit in nicely. Pictures when it's not so late in my evening.
Also, waaaaaaaay back in the early 90's, I read this series called The Stepsisters and I only ever managed to find the first two books. Maybe the first three. Anyway, it appears there were seven books (though the way the seventh ends, it's clear that they'd planned for more but the readership it seems wasn't there) and I just completed my collection. *cheers* Well, bigger cheers would be had if I could find what I did with book one, but still! Yays! Reviews and stuff at a later date.
Don't Trust the Bitch in Apt 23 eps are now on Hulu. So, tomorrow I'll have something to bribe myself with. Huzzah!
