May. 31st, 2013 05:51 pmWell that took no time at all. If one wanders over to tumblr (as that's where all gifs come from. It's like the cabbage patch) and peeks into the Ever After High tag, one will see the following:
"Discussions" (some deserve the air quotes some do not, but since it's less a debate and more flailing on both sides...) about race.
and a thousand OCs. I do not give a flying fig about your OC unless I know you and we're actually friends, not just people who nod at one another on the virtual street. I didn't care about them in MH and I really don't care about them in something that's just begun. Really. I do not care. Please stop. It's like half the tag. It's making me cry.
My only recourse at the moment is jump from the nearest window and hope the lesser Charming will be by to catch me.
The dolls have been spotted, sort of. Not sure whether it's the same head mold or not. Apple is adorable and pretty much perfect except that she looks a little serious for someone who is capped looking so kooky. (Maddie might be the mad one, but I swear, half my caps of Apple have her looking craaaaaaaazy.)
See? Not the face of someone super serious. :P
So. Back to Briar. You know what she's giving me major flashbacks to? Rose Petal Place. A more streamlined version, but her outfit is clearly a rose. So... yeah, maybe it's just me but it's probably adding to the love.
Dammit, Mattel. First you're all "come back to the dolly side" with the My Scene line. Then you trick me with your AG whispers ("come back to us!") and Monster High is so awesome that not to fall under its spell would be criminal. And now you throw Rose Petal Place, Lady Lovelylocks, and fairytales into a blender and expect me to have any money left over to feed myself so I can get to work to pay for this stuff?
That said, this weekend I've gotta do some serious packing. And possibly to reward myself, I will cross another thing off my MH list.
