Because I had to
Jun. 12th, 2013 03:25 pmSometimes at work I think of strange things. In this case, I've decided that you know what the world really needs?
It needs us to come up with the definitive Sweet Valley nail polish collection. It really does. Don't deny yourself this truth. I know. So, I've given it some thought and decided some things are just obvious and some will require some input. And possibly I'm wrong about some of these in which case you are tagged in whether I know it or not.
I figure we'll have two collections. One basic and one LE. The LE will be excuses to use phrases from 1bruce1. :P But one does not simply come up with a half baked idea and waltz it over there, no. One must put thought and creative energy into it, and right now I'm simply at the thought stage. Later pictures will be found and stuff, but for now, now we come up with names and colors. You with me?
Core collection.
Jessica: Fuchsia.
Elizabeth: Baby blue? It's funny, I have no doubt about Jessica's color, but Liz would probably wear a really light nail polish in a neutral shade or maybe a really light pink, but at the same time I have this very clear thought that she should be blue even if it's not a color she'd necessarily wear herself, y'know?
Lavaliere: Gold
Pool Push Aqua blue
Miss Lila Fowler Burgundy? Royal Purple? I'm leaning towards burgundy myself, but originally I thought of purple.
Evil Twin: Black
Return of the Evil Twin: Blood Red
(I was so tempted to go with Margo as black, Nora as blood red, and then have Evil Twin and Return be different things entirely, but that might be a bit much.)
Identical Opposites
Perfect Size 6
Can't think of a color for those two, though I do think perhaps a nude is required for the line if only so that Elizabeth would have a color she'd actually wear on a regular basis. :P
LE collection:
Saint Elizabeth: Pearl White.
Lavaliere of Truth: Gold with glitter for that actual sparkle of righteousness.

Like I said, it was started at work so what's logical at 2am might not translate to 3pm. *muse*
