I am ridiculously proud of myself.
One of the dogs is under the weather (this is why we do not knock down the trash can and treat it like a feeding trough, little one) and despite showing absolutely no interest in going out before I ran up to take my shower, she apparently needed to go out anyway. So... she had a particularly disgusting accident in the fifteen minutes, max, I was gone. After my initial, "OHMYGODWHY", I bucked up and got to work. Pick up the ew, do the dance of "do not rub in, blot, blot, ew" spray some stuff, wait and then repeat the dance...
It went from "this is never coming out" to "um, where was I supposed to the dance again?" So proud, guys. So proud.
And also disgusted. But mostly proud.
Sigh, no one is around to appreciate my hard work. Unrelated, but I set up the Scentsy core that I bought last month and a) Mandarin Moon smells amazingly good and b) the dancing flutterbees are quite pretty.
On the TV front, just finished watching the pilot for The Crazy Ones. (Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar on TV together.) Unsure if I like it or not. It's got potential but it could get really old really, really fast. And "smell my hair" girl deserves better. She sparred with Blair Waldorf for crying out loud! On the plus side, the show went by incredibly quickly to the point that by the time they'd reached the end, I had to double check that I hadn't only gotten half an episode. However, it's also like, five minutes shorter in general so... there's that. The downside is that it felt like an overly long commercial for both McDonalds and Kelly Clarkson as well as a weird SNL sketch. It's hard to describe, but mostly it feels like the show is still off. Which is fine, it's a pilot and most pilots aren't amazing (and of the ones that are, half of them fail to have a series that lives up to the potential) and I figure they'll either find their footing or fail spectacularly.
I'm off to give Back In The Game a shot before bed.
