Nov. 28th, 2013 06:07 pmAhhh, Thanksgiving. Just waiting on the pie to cool. Mmm. Pie.
In the meantime, I hit Amazon to see if they had something in stock (no) and found that about half of the older MH dolls I still needed were on saaaaaaaaaale. So I bought them. *cough* That wipes out the rest of Scaris, the entirety of the Ghouls Alive! line, and one more picture day doll. This almost brings me up to being semi-caught up with the more recent releases. (I consider 13 Wishes onward to be the recent stuff.)
I really need to reorganize that list though, man. I think I'll shuffle the twin stuff further down to it's own section so that the newer stuff is more easily found. *muse*
Lesse. I've bought exactly one present for other people, but come tomorrow I'll be able to up that to 2, and I've got a list coming for a third, and that'll kind of wipe out one sector of my list. I've got a list and I'm waiting on a proper sale for another friend (and since she's local, I can wait til the last second if need be) and I have one tiny present coming for Cass because I couldn't resist the name. So I do have a plan!
Oh, and if you get a gift from me that isn't, I dunno, sent directly from me, please ignore any receipts you get. Sometimes I remember to check the "this is a gift" box and sometimes I'm in a hurry to place the order before the deal is gone. So, open your package, slide the paper to the side and only look if you need to do a refund/exchange thing, k?
Work related, if you're near a Walgreens that's still open and you wanted the Fergie Jet Set $30 set, it's on sale with a coupon for $15 today. If you're going to be near a Walgreens tomorrow, there's a coupon on the website for 25% off non-sale merch.
Also, I have a nail polish problem. I went years without really buying much aside from the same shade (in different names and different brands) of ocean green/blue every so often, but even after swearing off buying more, I had a coupon, see... and another coupon, and a sale and a discount and I might have bought 4 of those Covergirl Glosstini Catching Fire polishes. *cough*
On the plus side, before I would paint my nails and immediately chip them off because... I don't know why, really. Now? Now I wear whatever I feel like. Currently I have three nails painted one color (Revlon's Rich), one is still painted Sally Hansen's Glitter Gun, and the right hand is all chipped off (they had been painted Glitter Gun). The reason the thumb is still GG is because when I was spray painting, it got hit with a shot of paint and lemme tell you, glitter spray paint makes the best top coat. :P
