I am in a terrible mood and I don't really know why. I've got a bunch of little reasons, and I suppose the sheer fact that I can say "a bunch of little reasons" is probably enough to have a cumulative effect, however usually I need something larger to set me off. The closest thing I've got is the fact that once I'd cleaned my room (I just need to buy something from the store to spray down the shower and then I need to vacuum and I'm done) and wandered downstairs, I found out that some jackhole had draped paper towels over an accident left by one of the animals.
That is just fucking lazy. At first I thought maybe they'd cleaned it and gotten it to that "screw it, I'm going to bed" stage, but no. This was just "probably shouldn't step here, look, I did something, peace!" thing and crap was still on the floor. WTF. The ONLY time you get a pass on this is if you're running out the door for work/school, otherwise whoever finds it, cleans it up.
So I spent an hour cleaning that shit up. *grumble*
My credit score monitering gave me the bad news about my credit taking that hit after the car thing. Maybe this is the... no, I knew it was coming and the number spat out is actually higher than I expected so... still, unhappy making.
Then I found out they're closing my Kmart. :( Cross your fingers that when I go, it's a) still open and b) it's got the stuff I want/need in stock and there aren't too many people there!
It's Toy Fair time, which usually means many shiny things but most of the MH offerings thus far have been "recoil in horror" for me while everyone else is all, "THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER!" Which isn't helping my mood, but maybe it'll mean I won't have to choke someone for a Dracubecca when they come out?
Can't focus long enough to figure out whether the KISS ponies are actually KISS or just KISS inspired and either way I hate KISS soooooo the idea of them being anywhere near my ponies is actually kind of sick making. :/
Today we'll find out if American Girl Personal Shoppers are full of shit or not. Rumors abound that they'll be announcing bringing Samantha out of the archives this summer/fall, so I've been lurking on FB as that's where the announcement is meant to be? I dunno. I think my feelings on this will need their own post, so I'll just wait and see if anything comes of the rumor this time. The reluctance to believe it is due to this being a rumor that's been said every year since 2008, when she was archived. However, it's never been said they'd be announcing it on a specific date so...
Holyshit, Sam IS coming back!
I'm out of sorts and I don't like it.
On the plus side, I'm on day three or four or something of my challenge to drink more water and I've yet to mess up so far! :D I told myself that if I drank just one flashing tumbler of water every night/day (depending on whether I'm working that day) through the rest of February, I could buy myself something shiny.
