Grownup problems
Feb. 19th, 2014 03:22 pmI don't want to be a grown up and call and set up an eye exam. It's been ages since my last one and that one gave me shit because it had been ages since the one before that. Oi. Maybe this go round they'll understand the whole, "Dude, you gotta have money and no amount of wanting is going to translate to being ABLE to afford to get anything done" line of reasoning. Or I could just ignore any rants given my way.
But today will not be the day to set up the appointment because the spring like weather is trying to murder me. *dies*
I believe our inspection went well, knock on wood, so let's discuss what I blew my money on Monday morning.
Went to Kmart looking for the Monster High Music Festival Clawd/Draculaura set. They didn't have that. WOE. :(
I also went looking for one of those memory foam bath mats that I've been wanting for 2 years. Which I had to look all over creation for, but eventually found. :D Not the blue one, but white works. (Purple wasn't as soft.)
I then bought some towels that aren't anywhere near as awesome as the two I'd bought previously, and one quick dry that is the most awesome towel ever. (So FLUFFY.) Which is good because that SOB shed all over everything when I washed them. Oi.
Mom got some stuff and... *cough* I might have bought a How to Train Your Dragon mystery egg for Widget and a Toothless figure for me. :D I also bought my first Equestria Girls doll. I'd gone in to look at Rarity but none of them spoke to me (one was also losing her clothes) but Fluttershy did. I think they kind of need their articulation to be worth it to me, and Fluttershy is articulated so... she's now sitting on my computer being cute as hell. Unfortunately she is a gateway drug and now requires friends. So I ordered GothiePie and she'll accompany Thor and Loki when my Thor 2 DVD ships.
I'd half decided that if they had the Getting Fairest EAH Maddie or Raven, I'd buy them, so they only had Apple. They did, however, have Jane Boolittle and she's just so awesome that even Mom fell in love with her, so she came home, too.
