Feb. 27th, 2014 06:19 pmUgh, the cramps of doom have descended. Apparently not even pain pills will help me now. Run, run, save yourselves!
And now let's move on.
First up, I have all kinds of exciting things in the mail. First up is the steam cleaner I ordered over the weekend. She arrived yesterday and I am most excited to use her this weekend. I call her my Flamethrower. Hopefully she will just throw steam and not flames.
Next we have my AG order that I placed, what, Tuesday? Yeah, that sucker has shipped already and is in Atlanta as we speak. Eee! The ETA is Tuesday but I really hope that it'll arrive Monday or Saturday. Monday will need a little sunshine to see it through.
Also, I ordered GothiePie and Thor 2 from Amazon and they haven't shipped yet but Amazon assures me they'll be here sometime next week. This order was from awhile ago so.. waiting blows. I'm tempted to upgrade to Prime but then I worry that the only thing keeping me from spending ALL my money on Amazon is the knowledge that I have to work it up to free shipping levels and $35 these days is a bitch. On the other hand...
I'm waiting on Cass to arrive so I can give her my gifts for Ari and my shopping list for when she stops at AG on her way home from visiting her sister this weekend.
I'm also including a card for her to give to our friend Jess so that Jess can sign it and then hand it over, possibly at AG, possibly before, so that Cass can stop talking about getting Addy one day and actually get her. Her year has been horrible, no good, and very bad, and she's handled it so very well. I can count on one hand the number of breakdowns she's had and neither were drama filled "woe is me!" things. They were both perfectly in line with the shit she's been dealing with and I am stupidly proud at her maturity (you can tell because I'm clearly using big words like "stupidly") and I know that when life is kicking your ass and you express any interest in something fluffy, people around you get weird as hell about it but it helps. It really, really does.
So, while most of my Harris the kindhearted Veteran money went towards the new car, I am sending a little more than half the cost of a new doll. Jess had the same idea only she was going to wait until the Charlotte store opens. I'm sure I'll be broke again by then, so I thought I'd throw in now, figuring Cass was already talking about buying Addy with her refund money anyway soo...
I hope she finds her Addy and that Addy brings her joy. :)
And I believe I owe the fabulous Miss z a zillion bucks for shiny things. And a Christmas present which is sitting with my PLL mug (so the present won't get lost).
On a non-monetarily related note, I've been on a Daria binge. I fully blame
