ugh, ugh, I'm dying, you idiot
Jun. 3rd, 2014 11:45 amWork on my closet goes extraordinarily well, oddly enough. It's not going to work exactly as I hoped, but I suppose that was one of those things that I didn't think through fully. I'd hoped to have the boxes one facing deep, but there's no way that will work once I start packing my books up. Of course, it's going to have not worked prior to the books anyway (sorta, I have three boxes of books in there already) but I'm trying not to be too hard on myself about it. I'm actually down to just needing to fidget with the boxes not in the closet and to move the dolls that have been hanging out on the top shelf in there for awhile.
Then I'll clear out my room again of the boxes for a couple of days (or one day anyway) and begin work on the doll closet. Or the books, I'm not sure which. Maybe the books first so I can move the dolls I won't pack til last to the empty bookcases? Yeah, that sounds good.
This would be easier if a) the TV didn't have shitty programing during the hours when I'd like non-shitty programing and b) if my period weren't actively plotting against me. I feel awful right now. :( Plus, I can't go swimming to get my little bit of sun and ex cerise plus, um, pool.
Dyed my hair Sunday. I used that new L'Oreal Mousse stuff that you can save and use for root touch-ups or, if your hair is really short, use for a second application later on. I'm not sure if the smell was actually as strong as it seemed since I haven't dyed my hair in about a year and thus never did so in this bathroom, but my eyes were stinging from the smell. Otherwise I'm pretty free of complaints other than color choices. If you want to go red, you have one choice. So I went blond first (figuring I'll save the red I want to do for after we find a place and sign a lease and they can't back out). Oh, there is one other complaint: the price. It's been on the shelves for more than a month and their big "sale" at work was a buck off. Luckily it also printed out a coupon so that knocked another $4 off and that makes it much more manageable to try.
I'm off to work on the rest of my small pile of magazines to shred before tossing.
