And so it has begun. Today, this day of joy (May the Fourth), marks the day that Caroline Abbott begins her shuffle to the archive of DOOM.

If I hadn't had the whole year thus far to get used to it, I'd probably be very whiplashed about the whole thing, but I have and I think I've snagged most of her stuff that I want and have the room for (RIP, Parlor. RIP) and at this point it's down to deciding on whether I'd want her in the future and thus should just buy her soon or if I learned my lesson with Lyssie.

Oddly enough, Caroline's reign feels even shorter than the NOLA girls though I don't really know why. Maybe since there were two of them it somehow felt a little longer, maybe it's because Caroline actually gave the impression of being somewhat popular and the NOLA girls never did. I don't know.

In any case, I will be sorry to see Miss Abbott go. If you still haven't read her books, I suggest rectifying this mistake quickly, whether this means you pick up the BeForever versions or go with the 'Classic' books since her illustrations are usually lovely. She's a strong willed girl who loves her family (definitely a Daddy's girl) and makes sacrifices without being over the top about it. She gets nervous when presented with danger and she has moments she jumps in and others where she has to think about it.

Her grandmother and her mother are made of steel and are awesome and her father, well, he's the damsel in distress and it's kind of awesome. :P Her mysteries aren't bad either and overall, I definitely think she's one of the better written characters.

Any mold other than classic, Mattel, and she'd have been here years ago trying to con me into her ship or something.

I'm thinking that next month I'm gonna try and help Cass hit her $150 mark to keep her Scentsy-ship afloat. I'm fairly certain she hit her mark back in March and that unless she manages to pull a fantabulous order this month, she'll need one next month. In any case, next month is also bring back my bar time so that helps. I'm not fond of next month's warmer (Lone Star) but this month's warmer is loverly and next month it'll make sense to swap it in on one of the combine and saves.

Back to the BBMB, here's the list of the scents coming back. I'm familiar with some (and own a couple) so I've noted those:
Amber Road
Open a box of treasure, hand-picked from exotic lands, to discover glowing red cedar and resinous incense.
(I own this one. I like it but it's definitely one I think of as a more fall/winter scent.)

Awakening
Invigorate your senses with an unexpected harmony of white peach and vanilla, pineapple and amber.

Bananarama
Sweet, golden, ripe bananas.

Bubblegum
The true scent of baseball-card bubblegum — sugar and cotton candy with a hint of mint.

Cashmere
Sheer floral bouquet combines Moroccan jasmine, lily of the valley and bergamot.

Cutiepie Cupcake
Sweet clementine and yellow cake batter with vanilla and sugary icing.

Echo
Sophisticated, metropolitan fragrance of manly spice notes, Mediterranean citrus and herbs and bitter orange.

Enliven
Wild orchid and renewing currant, blended with sweet, soft fruits and a drop of coconut milk.

Eucalyptus
Soothing, medicinal and fresh.
(Getting a couple of this for Mums since she's been wanting a straight Eucalyptus scent.)

Flirtatious
Fruity and vibrant, a combination of green apple, grapefruit and white amber.

Flower Shop
Just like walking into a flower shop.

French Kiss
Sweet fig tenderly caressed by coconut pulp, exotic cedar and caramel.

French Toast
A perfect, light slice of bread dunked in golden egg batter, dusted with powdered sugar, and finished with a swirl of sweet maple syrup.

Grape Vine
Somewhere between grape juice and Cabernet.

Hazelnut Latte
Frothy steamed milk, toasted hazelnuts, espresso and vanilla with a dusting of cinnamon.

Love Story
Innocent pink jasmine and sensual amber embraced by luscious dark chocolate.

Orange Dreamsicle
A classic combination of fresh orange, swirled with vanilla cream.
(Exactly what it says on the tin.)

Quiver
Innocent vanilla flower, warm sandalwood and sultry night-blooming tuberose in a seductive scent, meant to cause a shiver of delight.

Strawberry Sweetie
A fruity delight of strawberries sprinkled with sugar and vanilla.

White Sands
Night-blooming jasmine softened by coconut milk and rice, enveloped in the gentlest breeze.

I'm interested in a fair amount of them but there's no way I'll be hitting $150 on my own. Anyone else want in? I figure this way you've got a month or so to plot.
