Sep. 15th, 2015 10:53 amI feel like I should have an update of some sorts, but I don't really have any news. I've just been working really weird days (not even hours as those are the same) and it's to the point that I honestly couldn't tell you what day of the week it is anymore without really having to think about it. (Tuesday. It's Tuesday.) I don't like having my days split up because it means I have to be at work for a couple of hours every day of the week and that is just soul crushing. I don't know if I'd mind it so much if I loved 95% of the stuff about my job, but I don't even think the people who pretend to love the company to bits would really want to be at work every single day.
I've been getting a lot of those dudes who tell you to smile, it's not that bad. Dude, I'm not not smiling, I'm thinking or plotting, or sort of staring off into space while considering the pros and cons of trying to weasel an extra day off for my 'vacation' next month. (Is it really a vacation if you don't go anywhere or do anything much?) Didn't the US go through a massive explanation of Resting Bitchface a few years back? Yes, yes we did because it came up during the first Avengers press tour for Renner. So... really, the younger crowd should have gotten the memo.
Yesterday, just to spite me since I had to sleep, was nice and Fall like. Today is a little warmer and tomorrow is supposed to inch up just a smidge more. Still, I'll take what I can get since the weekend is going to be warmer still.
I think next week is Cass's Scentsy order in addition to her birthday. I have a list a mile long. We'll see how it actually pans out.
I saw the brochure/prices for the Christmas stuff. Holy crapmuffins, the prices on a lot of that stuff makes the giant Halloween Haunted House look positively cheap. And that sucker ain't cheap. (But oh, how I want it.)
