I slacked off a bit on the Halloween-y pictures but I'm back. I think. In my defense, the power did some weird dance on Saturday (off/on/off/on) and then went out yesterday. Yes, the day the sun finally came out and the power went out. :P

I wish I were feeling more Halloween-y. Sigh. I think that's just my standard whine, though. It crops up every year about this time. I get super Halloween-y in the spring and early summer, and then another burst in August and then it just turns into "why doesn't it feel the same?" Because you're not eight, self, and you don't have all afternoon and all weekend to devote to such things. You have other stuff to do. But it would probably help if you spent a bit more time outside when you can on days when it's not Summer Part 2.


All that said, I would love to have the money/house/time/ability to go crazy like this shot.

Am I the only one who looks at houses with nifty porches and thinks, "I hope they decorate for the holidays because if they don't, man, what a waste?" Possibly.
