Warning for impending dorkitude
Jan. 30th, 2016 11:11 amAnyone else watch Dragon Games, the new EAH special? It went up on Netflix yesterday so... I'm warning you, I'm probably gonna get all blabbermouthy tomorrow. As it is, I will say this.
I ran into Walmart yesterday morning to see if they had the dog's lasagna (don't judge), socks for me, and the Poppy EAH exclusive. They did, in fact, have three Poppys. I was rather meh about her and looked to see if I saw any obvious sales/clearances, but didn't. Then I thought about how every other special from the MH/EAH land has made me immediately want all the things right then, so I figured I'd save myself the trouble and buy the hardest to find while I had the one decent one in the store in my hands (one had serious staining on her face and the other had a smushed face). Yeah, no one's gonna walk away from Dragon Games wanting Poppy. If they'd given her the spiky hair, maybe. But they didn't so... ah well.
With that warning out of the way, I'm also likely to discuss the new Barbie body molds (tall! curvy! petite!) and how they've basically yielded the same Barbie response in me as usual: all the dolls I like come with awful outfits and all the outfits I like come with dolls I'd rather not be stuck with. :P Only tomorrow (or Monday?) I'll have pictures because I like to document things.
Oh! This weekend, until Feb 1st (I think), Lea's on sale (well, free shipping) or there are bundles including her on sale. I miiiiiiiiiiight order her pajamas (free shipping!) and the sloth who is on backorder, simply because Lisa Yee's been posting pictures of her sloth and it's cute as hell. :P
Now, to decide whether to further peruse the new Scentsy catalog and continue to cackle as 90% (number totally pulled from thin air) of the stuff introduced in the last catalog is discontinued, or to stop while I'm sort of ahead because last I checked, bergamot tended to make Scentsy wax smell kind of awful and it's showing up A LOT in new scent descriptions...
I wish I knew where this mystery bruise came from. It doesn't hurt but it's really noticeable on my arm (a sea of pale and then bruise before more pale) and every time I roll my sleeves up at work, I see it and think, "That looks painful. *poke* Huh. Nope." Every. Damn. Time. :P
