May. 6th, 2016 05:33 pmHuh. It appears the AG stuff was released last week... so why'd you just email me now, AG? That's... not good. Huh. Well, if tomorrow is an 11, I'll do the quick round-up here then. I'd do it now, but I went to see the kittens today and I'm kinda brain fried now. They're so tiny and cute and they both fell asleep on me and I love them. ♥
I don't love that I bit my tongue yesterday and it's weirdly numb and painful at the same time. In fact, it feels almost exactly like when you've had a Sucrets lozenge and your tongue just quits and says no more.
Nefera and Giant Maddie arrived today. Maddie's got some eye wonk (because of course she does) but for $12, I'm gonna look the other way. Also, I think it actually adds a bit to her and helps keep her from looking completely blank. Nefera looks pissed, probably from having to share a box with Maddie. :P But I'm pleased, especially since I got both of them for less than one of them would have normally cost. Huzzah!
Let's see. I'm debating starting the new season of Grace & Frankie. I know that once I start, I won't want to stop... but I want to start. Maybe I can dole out episodes to myself til my days off?
I missed some doll fandom wank, which is always a bit sad and probably a good thing at the same time. I'm kind of tired of the AG fandom, which is probably why I didn't realize there was new stuff released til yesterday. We'll see if summer brings a renewed interest. In case it doesn't, I will say that Truly Me #46 was 'quietly' retired semi-recently. She's the Sonali mold with curly hair that Cass wanted and no, I am not freakin' telling her.
The interesting thing? When called on it on FB, AG said they had something interesting in the works for her. Which has lead to a lot of speculation that she's the base for GOTY '17. If so, she's already 900% more interesting than doll Melody for me. But we'll see.
