I don't think anyone was sitting on the edge of their seats wondering this, but new schedule went up and guess who is off Friday and Saturday again? Huzzah! This would be great if it kept up through my birthday as it would make my time off so easy peasy. However I'm not foolish enough to expect that. Alas.
It's friggin' 93 degrees right now. 10am and it's hot as hell. The AC at work is borked, btw. I knew it wasn't working right last week. Tomorrow is supposed to be even worse. D: Friday is looking like the sun might be cooler. But the fun part is that the next time I look at the weather, it's going to just change everything around again. I miss when summer went like this:
Cool-ish til the sun arrived, then you had about an hour and a half before we reached roasting status, and somewhere in the afternoon you'd get some rain. The longer it held off, the more severe it would be. The year I had summer school, it rained every single day except the day we got off for the tropical storm. (Yes.) Obviously as the summer marched on, it would get hotter for the most part, but you knew what you were going to get.
I have no comment about the Orlando incident beyond my heart hurting over it. I don't get how people can be so awful to one another and then when something like this happens, people get so weird about fixing the obvious problems. So I've avoided most conversations because there's always, always, always that one dick who acts like this was just written in the stars and had to happen. No way to prevent it, nope. Whatcha gonna do, right?
And then I see red. So, to avoid that, I will go back to saying my heart hurts.
