It's that time of year again
Nov. 14th, 2016 11:59 amI adulted this morning and picked my insurance. Yay. Seriously though, there should be a mandatory month long time for this at the very least because some years it's a complete and utter headache. This year they finally listened to the minions and if you had insurance this year and didn't really want to change anything or jump through hoops again, you'll automatically be re-enrolled for next year. The downside is that if you literally don't sign in and change it, you will default to a tobacco user and that's a big jump for a lot of plans. No, work, I did not pick up that habit nor will I, but thanks for making it a complete pain in the arse to sign up because if you don't sign up for everything all at once, you have to keep hitting the "no, I don't smoke! Stop asking!" button each time you log in. And if you're actually reading the fine print on anything you will get logged out and have to log back in, thus you'll have to hit that stupid button again. And again. And again.
Sigh.
Still, I feel a little vindicated because this year when I asked Mums if I should change dental because I finally found a plan my dentist shows up for as in-network, but it costs more and there was an actual listed difference (besides the price) in the plans, she said to keep my current choice because the other one's difference was a dealbreaker. Huzzah, I was right!
It's the little things, really.
Took pictures of the AG army last night. Haven't had the guts to see if they turned out okay because a) Mums didn't go with the boy to the dentist this morning and b) um, lazy, really. We'll see.
You there! Do you want a present or a card from me? Then you should let me know what you want or keep an eye out for the post sometime this week where you can put your address safely or you can email it to me. I make no promises, of course, but gift lists and card requests will be taken into consideration. :D (Basically, assuming I don't flake completely, if you want a card and you give me an address, you will get mail. Presents are more hit or miss and if you do get one, sometimes I take forever to send them and sometimes you get them immediately. It all depends on my funds and if I find something that speaks to me for you at a time when I do, indeed, have funds.)
