Ugh.

So the new girl quit yesterday. Apparently less than an hour before her shift and because she was expecting it to be less overnight stocking and more cashier. I wish she'd said something to us before doing so because a) I'd have recommended her just asking to be put on the register. You're still expected to do other things but not as much and b) I'd have liked to know I was coming into chaos. :p

This means, alas, I will be working alone tonight. Because for whatever dumbass reason, they scheduled three people for Thursday and Friday but only two for the actual friggin' holiday. (I'm sorry, corporate can say that New Years Day is the holiday, but let's all be honest: people celebrate NYE.) Annnnnnnd if one of those people quits, that leaves yours truly to do:

• cig count


• tagapalooza


• truck (because why wouldn't you schedule trucks on the busiest day of the week? c'mon!)


• dealing with insanely stupidly drunk people

And that's not even getting into the normal stuff. Sigh.


Oh, last night some underage kid stole a carton of cigs. It wasn't Newports though, so that means hell officially froze over. Then he came back! Annnnnnnd my manager busted his ass and he got all "my life is so hard, let me tell you all about it because I am shitfaced!" annnnnnnnd when he went outside to join his friends, they mocked him for not scoring again and left his ass behind. Kid, you need better friends because it was cold as hell last night.

Tomorrow is Gabby day! I'm collecting pictures and things to facilitate things along but there are leaks everywhere (her catalog hit, AG's done an unboxing video which is a sham because they most certainly do not just pop out of the box like that) and we'll discuss all this in detail tomorrow, as per usual. Oh, the big news is that in the catalog it's been confirmed that Gabby's stuff will be available for more than just one year, and I guess not in that lingering way that say, Saige's or Izzy's stuff is.
