TV ranting
Jan. 12th, 2018 01:03 pmI need someone who watches and keeps up with Riverdale to come sit next to me (not in person because the coughing would annoy you, so sorry) and either explain to me wtf happened in the mid-season finale and how that makes any goddamn sense, or to commiserate with me about how many times WTF fell outta yer face.

But I did snort-cackle-laugh when someone called Betty Sweet Valley High. I'm easily amused.
Speaking of easily amused, I might've caved and bought this Daria shirt. In my defense, my other Daria shirt is stupidly comfy so I'm hoping this one will be as well. Oh, and I also got this sweater though I'm not entirely sure that wasn't the cold medicine doing the shopping. Both were on a better sale when I snagged them because you never pay full price. Never. I do wish they'd share the accessories more between HT and Torrid. Like most of the Sailormoon clothes were and are kind of awful (to me) but I liked the accessories. Naturally, as soon as I bought the sweater the cold weather stopped abruptly and now it's 70 degrees.
Ugh. My cold is finally seeming to move on, but that means I'm at the stage where everytime I cough or blow my nose it's gross. So gross.
My nails have lasted all week, though since I called out last night maybe I shouldn't be praising them quite so much. Still, they're pretty and I did get complimented on them the other night in the midst of all the registers being a complete pain in the arse and not working properly.
Ooh, which reminds me: we're getting all kinds of new makeup at work! They're obviously going to do the cos wall reset soon and it looks like we'll be getting elf cosmetics finally. I've already eyed a couple of things I waaaaaaaaant. I do not like the new Covergirl packaging. It's black and white and boring and even the elf packaging (also black and white) is more interesting. Covergirl... you don't want people looking at your packaging and thinking it looks like it should be in the dollar store. Not when your stuff is creeping up in prices, k? Then again, with Revlon and Almay both having new foundations (that look pretty much identical, down to the sponge tip applicators attached to both) that are just under $20... maybe CG isn't that expensive.
