My plan for the day involved seeing Black Panther and getting some sleep, reading stuff, and then watching another movie with Mums this evening. I slept and that's about it. Non BP movie is scheduled for when pizza gets here, I think. Not sure if we're going to try BP tomorrow or skip straight to Infinity War. I don't trust the universe to not spoil the shit out of it but I haaaaaaaate seeing movies opening weekend. Wish me luck because a) I want to see it and b) I don't want my faves to die. But, if we're being honest, they probably will.

I believe I owe you a finished BSC meme, so let's go:

22.) BSC member or minor character you could see yourself being friends with:
Mal and Mary Anne. Mal and I could book nerd it up and I could enjoy the chaos of the Pike household and then return to my slightly saner home (slightly) and Mary Anne and I are pretty similar and I think in this case it would work. We could be lowkey together and also, kitties! Seriously, I think the first few hangouts would just be all Tigger and Ozma lovefests. Texts would be all cats. It'd be a thing and it'd be adorable and you know it. And while some might thing there's a bit of mocking in this answer, I say thee nay. Well, I mean, towards myself probably. But when she's done well, Mal is pretty awesome. We could compare stories and even if this answer meant I'd be thrown back into being BSC age, I'd probably be even more of a Mal or MA answer. I'd be the dork hyperventilating for the first six months and I think both would get that and not make it a big deal.

23.) Favorite Friends Forever:
Uhhhhhh... I haven't read them all and I couldn't begin to tell you anything about FF beyond less sitting, Alan and Claud were a thing, and also the three oldest Thomas kids go to their dad's wedding and it's as awkward as you'd imagine. So... probably that one (Kristy's Big News) because I think it kind of manages to tie up the Patrick plotline but still leaves things open enough to explore later if they'd continued.

24.) Least favorite Friends Forever:
Dunno, I don't think I read enough to have a least favorite. When I read them all, I'll let you know. In excruciating detail. I promise.

25.) Moments/Scene from the books that sticks out to you the most:
Welp, there's the club meetings in general. There's Janine's mini lecture on hopefully which is, I believe, no longer accurate because language evolved? Claudia enjoying a spooky fall evening with a storm. Dawn and Kristy bonding in the barn. Pizza toasts! Jessi's comment about the welcome wagon not coming by. Mal's hope that this Jessica Ramsey could be her best friend because she's tired of being the odd one out. ♥ Mal helping Buddy read via comic books.

26.) Favorite Claudia outfit:
I couldn't tell you one damn thing about it, but my lazy ass knows that she had a Miss Frizzle outfit and that fact makes my heart sing.

27.) Favorite Stacey outfit:
I cheated and had to look it up. I don't tend to pay attention to Stacey outfits because there's this incredible disconnect between her ~sophisticated~ persona and the stuff they put her in at the start of the series. Even taking into account that the 80's were a far different time, some of the stuff Stacey wears is just insane. I guess to make up for the more classic/kinda dull stuff she'll wear later on? But reading this page makes me realize just how many of early Stacey's outfits involved birds. I'm still not sure the following is the outfit I remembered and wanted to choose but it's a look and I'm going with it.
I decided on this new pink shirt I got the last time we went back to New York City to visit friends. Big, bright green and yellow birds were splashed all over it. It was gigantic, so it would be cool. I put it on with a pair of baggy shorts, looped a wide green belt around my middle, and hunted up some jewellery – silver bangle bracelets and a pair of silver earrings shaped like bells that actually ring when they dangle back and forth.

28.) One thing you learned from the BSC:
What to do when your hamster suddenly gives birth and you didn't even know she was knocked up. Thank you, Jessi.

29.) Favorite BSC 'villain':
Guess this depends on how you define villain, eh? I'd argue that for quite awhile Janine would fall under that category but I'd also be making that arguement to be kind of a jerk so that's not going to be my answer. Shannon started out as a villain but it'd be silly to continue to think of her that way. Karen's probably not someone the people who had much to do with creating the books thought of as a villain but ask anyone who had to suffer through her antics as a reader and um, yeah. She is.
I guess the 'normal' villains would be Stacey's bad girl crew (I don't remember you all), Alan, Cary, and Cokie?
I think I've devoted enough time to Alan for you to realize he coulda been more and I'm forever 'pressed that he wasn't (not really but, y'know, it's a thing) but I really liked that they went ahead and gave Mary Anne a nemesis. Why? Because holy hell, I'll be damned if I didn't have a nemesis and it was nice to know that it could happen to anyone. Sure, Cokie bugged pretty much everyone but she seemed to delight in targeting MA and the others were usually just icing on the cake.

30.) Biggest 'that wouldn't really happen in real life' moment:
Them winning the freakin' lottery. That's right, I can handle the time loop, the 11 year olds with more responsibility than some adults manage, and the endless string of boyfriends (among other things) but the lotto win is where I draw the line!

Pizza should be here soon, so I've gotta find a pile of napkins and the couch.
