Since we're nearly at the end of the month, I thought I'd better use my April AG Reward. I debated trying to call and see if I could use both rewards together but I didn't want anything badly enough to call. Instead I went with Tenney's plain black Tour Shorts so my total after everything was said and done was nothing. It reminded me of when I was in the Barbie Fan Club and I'd use my quarterly rewards for freebies. And like the BFC, AG's shipping is insane so it's definitely something that better benefits those who live near a store.
Speaking of AG, they're running a sale on top of a sale, so if you hit up the sales page and see anything you like (and there's some good stuff on it. I'm half tempted to go back for Josefina's Accessories), there's also a code they have splashed over everything that'll get you another 15% off. We should be getting new stuff next month and rumor has it new TM dolls are part of that. The Wellie's are getting carnival themed stuff if that's your thing.
I am now in that stage of the cold where you can't smell a damn thing and you don't really realize it until you actively try to smell something. Like I should be lying on the floor, gasping for air because I've had a candle I like, but only in very small doses, going for maybe four hours at this point. I can't smell a thing. Not even the Vicks in the tissues I swiped from mom. So yeah, nothing.
And yet I can still smell the vague funk that is the great outdoors. I went out earlier to get the mail because I was sure that Widget hadn't even though I'd asked him to before he went out of town, and on my way I stopped to drop something in the trash and one of the guard ducks came sashaying out of the trash corral. I go in after I make sure he was alone and something fucking hissed at me. I'm 90% sure it was a cat but I don't know and it creeped me out. In that one moment of fear, I could smell ... the stink outside. And now it's lingering in my head. Rude.
Spent yesterday snoozing and thus far today I've been watching Golden Girls on Hulu and going through my stack of magazines I'm subscribed to simply because I get 'em free via RewardBee. The downside of that is that I don't tend to read them unless it's Halloween and they just kind of pile up because I'm always sure I'll eventually get around to reading them... but come my day off, I don't feel like it and well, you know how it goes.
All this is thrilling, I know, but I'm off to dare to take a Benedryl and see if I can manage to not fall into a coma. Wish me luck.
