Jul. 31st, 2018 02:17 amMom and I watched Justice League tonight and it wasn't bad. I'm sure I missed all sorts of things because the only DCEU movies I've seen are Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman and DC isn't my particular comic company but I caught enough. Sure, it wasn't anywhere near as good as even the worst of The Avengers movies, but it also wasn't Suicide Squad levels of wasted potential and time. About the only critique I remember about the movie though, beyond "bad" was the stuff about Henry Cavill's mustache CGI being distracting and it really, really was. I'm not sure Mom noticed so I didn't say anything until after the movie was over because why make her suffer the same way I did? :P
I was kind of falling asleep during the credits though because I'd been up for awhile but I woke up once I got off the couch. Went to look at the CBs over on QVC again to see if any spoke to me enough to buy because I am a sucker for a bear and easy pay and literally just as I was about to flip a coin and choose one, the power went out. Not flickered, not went out and then came back, nope. The universe said NONE FOR YOU.
And I was a little ticked but also not since I'd seen who they had offered for the last 24 hours or so and none of them yelled my name enough to make me buy them before. Then the power came back on and the easy pay thing was gone and woe. But then I noticed they'd updated and I kind of wandered off mid-sentence (I was showing Mom) and hit the computer to make my order. I swear you used to be able to use paypal and QVC swears you can but it never came up as an option so I stuck with the one.
Oh, and all of this was after Widget was a complete butt monkey before dinner. But the less I think about that, the better.
Oh, and in AG news: Z, Tenney, Gabby, and Logan are all being retired. The kicker being that AG had the news about Tenney and Logan up on their site most of last week but then took the banners down over the weekend, sent an email to the Berry and Gold members saying they were the first to know and expected no one to think they suck at their jobs. I mean, sure, Z and Gabby confirmation was news but it wasn't really big news considering the fact that Tenney and Logan were going buh-bye. And Costco is apparently getting Molly as an exclusive and I'm ticked because I don't want or need another Molly doll but I do want her new outfit. I neeeeeeeeeed it. And Maryellen is getting a set there as well, which could mean interesting things for her. Then again, Kit survived her Costco run so who knows.
