Jul. 28th, 2018 09:48 amNot dead, just quiet. Not really a whole lot going on these days and that's fine with me. I don't think I mentioned it, but Mums and I went Halloween hunting during my last weekend and she bought me this:
Which I might've been wanting ever since Cass and I went out there and I first saw it. Also, we picked up this glitter cat. I'm not sure I'll ever be able to photograph it because it's hard enough to see in person but it's still somehow adorable.
Ventured into Michaels and mostly it was a Halloween dud but they did have the spooky village stuff out and that's always fun to see. :) Realized that the Tuesday Morning in the north area moved (I think I knew and just forgot?) but went to AC Moore and they had some fun stuff, including a mouse army of reapers:
Dead serious when I say that if I had any idea of where to put one, I'd have run back out to the car and gotten my wallet. But I couldn't so I didn't.
Came back to this side of the Ashley and hit Tuesday Morning where they definitely re-did their store and um, I hate it. It feels much smaller now, but maybe it's a change that sucks for me but is good for employees? The aisles are much shorter now and branch off a long middle aisle of furniture. Meh. Anyway, we were there to see if I could find the Countess and see her in person:
Not my picture so I did not find her. Which is just as well because I'd have cried having to leave her behind but I could never, ever justify spending what they're asking, let alone what she originally went for. ($300 and $700 respectively, in case you wondered.)
I took Tuesday off from work because I don't want to do cig count. I may have to do tag-a-palooza all by myself but I sure as hell don't have to do cig count. I was worried I wouldn't get it because when I checked the status of my request, it said denied but it also said it was a system thing which means it simply timed out or... I dunno, actually. But nope, I'm off and I'm ever so gleeful about that.
The weather has been doing my head in, alas. At least I assume that's the cause of my headaches because I know damn well it's not my hair. :P
I'm off to check my order statuses and open my box of Funko goodness.
