(no subject)

Ugh. Today feels more like late August or September due to all the rain. Areas are flooding left and right and on the way home from work we either ran over something that then hooked itself to the bottom of the car or... something went weird with the car and now Mom's super wound up and worried. (I am too, I'm just better about hiding that.)

In order to figure out which it was (and spoiler: I didn't figure it out, obviously) I had to lie down in the parking lot which meant I went from being just a little wet to full on drenched in seconds. I could grab the bit of car but couldn't figure out if it was from our car or just something that got stuck to us because our car is stupidly low to the ground.

Oh! And after we picked up our hitchhiker or the car went weird, we found out a tree had fallen across the highway. That was fun. Luckily the fire department is 100% better than SCDOT at directing traffic.

I'm so fucking tired, man. I just want to crawl in bed and pass out, but I can't because Widget isn't home yet and I'm supposed to make sure he doesn't fall asleep because he has a Very Important meeting around noon.
