Decided to go chat with Walmart first since they were the ones who missed their delivery date without a peep. I was basically put in the waiting room of doom and left there to linger. I had time to head to Amazon and debate, for more than five minutes, whether I should try to juggle two convos at once, go ahead and have my entire chat with Amazon, before Walmart did more than ask me to verify my email. And then, just when the first Walmart person was at the point to be able to do anything to help me, the computer glitched and I lost them. So back into the waiting room I went.
Rep 2 finally wound up saying this:
In order to help get the order from the stuck in processing stage, I will need to place a request to cancel the order, since this has high possibilities or making the order react for it to ship out, however there is a slight chance that it gets cancelled.
You would be receiving a confirmation email within 48 hours with the status of it and be sure that we will be working on honoring for it to ship out.
Which I think means she's going to basically poke it with a stick and it should trigger it to ship but it might, instead, cancel it. And there's not much I can do until they do something so I'm in limbo and without my shinies.
Amazon, on the other hand, is supposed to make sure they're sent out (today, allegedly) and I'm getting a refund. Alas, when closing the Amazon chat, it triggered the hiccup that killed the Walmart chat the first time.
So I guess we'll see. I am miffed though because seriously, I should be rolling in new shinies today and I'm not and with the home visit of dooooooooom, I really could've used a tiny pick me up. Sigh.
Well, I'm off to clean the wall in the hallway, get some icecream, and pass out.
