(no subject)

An update to the update? Amazon says my order shipped yesterday. They claim it'll be here by tonight. Hrmm. Apparently it made it to Columbia about an hour and a half ago so it might actually make it on time. Huzzah! Walmart is still holding steady at not doing a damn thing other than holding onto my money. I think, based on my chat yesterday, that I have to wait another day before poking them again. But I might fill out the survey they sent (twice) this evening if there's still no movement. And that survey will not be good.


Got home from work and it wasn't raining so I went to get the mail. In the time it took for me to walk from the door of the mailroom to our box, open ours up and get the five small pieces of mail, and walk back to the door, so like a minute and a half tops, the skies opened up. I swear, the ducks did a rain dance when they saw me coming.

Hairdorables achievement unlocked

First rule of blind boxes/bags: unless there's a way to cheat the system (and figure out which one you'll be getting prior to opening/buying), you will always, always wind up with one of the ones you'd like least. Usually as your first offering, but not always.

This entire time I've tried not to look too closely and get attached or dislike any of them. For the most part, the latter is pretty easy because they are all very cute. I think the only one I knew going in that I would be actually disappointed in getting was Rayne Showers and since she's the ~ultra rare~ I didn't worry too much about that scenario happening. I also knew that the one I most wanted was also not going to happen because she's one of the rares.

With that in mind, let's find out which Hairdorables I got, shall we?

The lighting all sucks because it's raining for like the 15th day straight and I'm not sure I'm even exaggerating at that. I don't even mean light summer daily rain. I mean flood warnings and shit.
