I don't think I will be able to keep up this relationship with you. I was so excited when you were announced. SO. EXCITED. Then a little less so when I read that you were blind boxes but y'know, stinkin' cute is still cute so sure. I made my pre-orders and I waited impatiently for release day.
Yeah, each and every order has had issues of one kind or another. Hell, only one has managed to get here at all at this point and you were released more than a week ago. Those aren't great odds when the big three all claim 2 day shipping if you meet certain criteria that I do, in fact, meet. Siiiiiiiiigh. Welp, mebbe not on Target. But there's something wrong with an order shipping 8/8 and not being expected until 8/17. That's some media mail BS right there.
You're not in my local stores. I know. I braved daylight to look. This means I must either order online or wait ever impatiently for you to turn up. See, the thing is... it's August. And August means Halloween is starting to really hit stores. And you're cute as hell, but you've already broken my spirit trying to get you. So I'm thinking that when/if my orders come in, this might be it for us.
Granted, I probably said similar things minus the blind box aspect on other doll lines so don't hold me to it. But then again, I've never had this much trouble getting a stupid order fulfilled so maybe I do mean it.
Yes. All of this is to whinge about the Target shipping being insane. I swear the other day it said my original order would be here today but uh, it hasn't updated since leaving AZ yesterday afternoon. Siiiiiiiiigh. And no, Walmart still hasn't shipped. I'm thinking that's going to be like the EAH book I ordered once that went on backorder and was on backorder so long I literally forgot all about it until a mystery charge appeared and then so did the book. We're talking months.
Flipside, Cass is going out to see if the super cute witchy kitty I want is at her Marshalls. And the person who has successfully ferreted out Boney Bunch/Halloween info the last two or three years running on the Halloween board has resurfaced just in time to maybe spill some secrets so I can start to plot accordingly.
So tired. Had to order the cat some more flea medication (goddamn it, summer) so I threw in a couple of things for me and used my gift card.
