Was supposed to hang out with Cass yesterday. She picked the day because her baby shower is Sept. 1st and things are about to snowball with appointments and getting people in town and all that and she had a home visit with DSS planned (that's a thing with a former friend of hers) for today at some point.
She asked if we could postpone it until today after her DSS visit because she didn't get much sleep and needed to catch up. I'm not a monster so I said sure. She then spent the next six hours texting like crazy, btw.
It's now after four in the afternoon and I don't think she's going to brave Monday rush hour for our plans.
Kinda ticked because Mom let the boy use the car yesterday and today she didn't want to go out and basically I hate feeling like my days off are wasted. It's one thing if I want to sit around and do nothing. It's another when I essentially spend the whole day on hold.
Grr.
