Aug. 24th, 2018 01:02 pmI was going to go to bed early today. I'd even made it into bed when I checked my email and saw a PM from someone on the Halloween board. Yesterday I poked around the Yankee Candle site and found a few (and I do mean a few) Halloween items, but only two things I was sorta interested in and none of the Boney Bunch. While I believe I own exactly one BB thing, I enjoy the hell out of the party the fans throw on the board for the launch (which is this weekend) and the lead up is always a blast, even if the items are lacking. This I think is the first year the leaks hadn't happened maybe a week out, so I was a little sad.
Til the mystery PM asked to use their skills and my skills and see what we could dig up. And by we, I mean mostly me after they handed over their partial key to the kingdom.
I waffled for like, two minutes before bolting downstairs to agree to join forces. I think it took maybe a full ten minutes to ferret out the Boneys though my hopes of finding other Halloween goodies has been dashed. Maybe someone else will have better luck.
Considering this is pretty much the only board I've ever been on where no one's made me want to murder them or cry (unhappily anyway), I was more than happy to get a chance to give back.

Today I opened my last two Hairdorables and they were both doubles and I think I'm done at this point. I believe I have :

Kat Walk (x2)
Kat n Dogs
Bella Bunerina (x2)
Brilliant Brit (x2)
Rayne Bow
Whimsical Willow
Starstruck Neila
No: Harmony, Kali, DeeDee, Skylar, or Sallee in sight.
The Kats are kind of funny in that I opened the first one a bit ago and then my Walmart order finally came in and I opened the first of the three I ordered and it was a second Kat Walk and I was less than pleased. So I opened the second box and it was Kat n Dogs so I threatened the universe that if box #3 was Kat again, I was gonna scream. It was Rayne Bow, so no screaming. My "shouldn't have ordered but did" Target order was a second Bella and Brit and that's where I end for now. They're too pricy to go on blind despite being cute and also I don't have the money in general for now so... eh. I'll probably cave later but for now having the last three of five being doubles is not sitting well, y'know?
Now to go battle my headache.
